Both the Rx 400 and 460 employ Alpha's Active Beta Technology (ABT), allowing for
a thinner yet stronger face, giving these drivers more trampoline effect. The key
difference between the two is that the RX 460 Driver is bigger. This gives it a
larger face, about thirty percent larger, which results in a bigger sweet spot. Both
drivers are more forgiving so that the average golfer will not be penalized for off
center hits. Their soles are also specially grooved to allow them to cut through air
with less friction, allowing for a faster swing speed and giving the drivers a uniquely
sleek look. The trajectory is just a shade lower than the 455, for a very penetrating
ball flight.
